She holds a PhD in Integrated Immunology (2021) from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) and has contributed to cutting-edge research on innate immunity, particularly neutrophil and macrophage dynamics. Her work leverages advanced imaging techniques like confocal, two-photon, and light-sheet microscopy to study immune cell behavior in infections, sterile inflammation, and cancer.
- Education: PhD (2021, FAU), BSc Biology (2018, FAU)
- Key research areas: Innate immunity, immune cell migration, NETosis, tumor-immune interactions
Her publications include studies in Nature Medicine and Immunological Reviews, focusing on glioblastoma lymphoid units and the role of neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) in inflammatory diseases.
