Fiona Watt

Fiona Watt serves as Director of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and group leader at EMBL Heidelberg, while maintaining a professorship at King's College London. Her pioneering research investigates mechanisms of cell differentiation and tissue maintenance in adult organisms.

Watt's work focuses on translating fundamental stem cell biology discoveries into regenerative medicine applications. She has published over 280 scientific papers and holds multiple patents related to cellular regeneration technologies.
