Fiona McFall

Fiona McFall is a Lecturer at UCJC, affiliated with the Center for Professional Studies, Faculty of Education, and Faculty of Health. She has been actively involved in multidisciplinary teaching since 2017, specializing in technical English for physiotherapy, sports sciences, and early childhood education. Her roles include coordinating the 'Expert in Socio-Labor Competencies for People with Intellectual Disabilities' program and collaborating with UCJC’s Doctoral School on academic writing and translation.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in English Philology (UNED, 2014)
• Master's in Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and EOI (UNED, 2016)
• Master's in Applied English Linguistics (Sociolinguistics, UNED, 2023)

Her research focuses on sociolinguistics, education systems, and inclusive pedagogy. She has contributed to translation projects in health psychology and has collaborated with institutions like the Werklund School of Education (University of Calgary) and the Irish NGO Dramability. She is also a certified mentor and has undertaken international teaching mobility programs in Slovenia and Norway.
