Encarnación López Mateo

Encarnación López Mateo is a Professor and Director of the Master's Degree in Secondary Education and International Education and Bilingualism at Universidad Camilo José Cela (UCJC). She holds a degree in English Philology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (1997) and certifications from Coventry University. With extensive experience in teaching English across various levels (secondary, vocational training, International Baccalaureate), she has held leadership roles such as Head of the Foreign Languages Department and Pedagogical Coordinator for the International Baccalaureate program at GSD Schools. Her work focuses on language acquisition, international education frameworks, and bilingual curriculum development.

Her academic contributions include co-authoring vocational training textbooks and publishing pedagogical materials. She currently leads professional development workshops for the International Baccalaureate program and oversees master's programs at UCJC. Her career spans teaching in Spain and England, with a strong emphasis on integrating global educational standards into bilingual and multicultural contexts.
