Dr. Fino M. Celano is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership at St. John’s University School of Education. With over 30 years of experience as a public-school administrator in New York, he has held leadership roles such as Superintendent of Schools and building Principal. His expertise spans school leadership, curriculum innovation, and teacher mentoring programs.

Former Superintendent of Herricks Public Schools (2015-2022), Assistant Superintendent in Garden City Public Schools (10 years), and Principal in Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District. Past-President of Long Island Association of School Personnel Administrators and New York State Association of School Personnel Administrators. Current member of St. John’s University School of Education Dean's Advisory Board.
