Finn Kydland

Finn Kydland is the Jeffrey Henley Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), holding dual roles within the Department of Economics and the College of Letters & Science. He also serves as the Richard P. Simmons Distinguished Professor at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business and holds a part-time faculty position at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). A Nobel Laureate in Economics (2004), he was honored for pioneering work on time-consistent economic policy and business cycle dynamics.

Dr. Kydland earned his PhD in economics from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University.
