Filipa Lebre

Filipa Lebre is a Research Fellow in the Nanosafety Research Group at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), focusing on interactions between immunological systems and organs using advanced in vitro models. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from the University of Coimbra (Faculty of Pharmacy) and completed postdoctoral research in Ireland, exploring biomaterial-immunology interfaces and regenerative medicine applications. Her work bridges nanotechnology, immunology, and tissue engineering to advance safety assessments of nanomaterials.
