Tvrdý's research examines how evolutionary biology and experimental psychology can address traditional philosophical problems. His recent work on conditional sentence semantics (2024) critiques terminological imprecision in philosophers' treatment of morphosyntax and semantics. Other key contributions include studies on conspiratorial thinking rationality, epistemic vices, and teleological explanations in biology.
Publications include 2 monographs and over 15 papers in journals like Filozofia and Czech and Slovak Journal of Humanities. His work has been presented at international conferences including the 1st International Conference on the Philosophy of Conspiracy Theory (Claremont, 2022) and the European Congress of Analytic Philosophy (Utrecht, 2020). Current research explores semantic analysis of conditional sentences under the Slovak Academy of Sciences' APVV project.
