Prof. Dr. Figen Tuncay is a full-time Professor at Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where she has served since 2014 and currently chairs the department. Her academic journey includes an MD from Karadeniz Technical University (1987–1993), specialization training at Ankara Training and Research Hospital (1997–2001), and progressive ranks from Research Assistant to Professor.
Her research focuses on innovative rehabilitation techniques for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, including shockwave therapy, AI-driven rehabilitation protocols, balneotherapy, and prolotherapy.
