Fernando Carnaúba is an Assistant Professor with a focus on deepening teacher education programs in Brazil. He collaborates with a network of 20 universities and partners with the Lemann Center at Stanford Graduate School of Education (GSE) to design and deliver professional development initiatives in Mathematics and Science for public school teachers.
- PhD in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, Columbia University
- MA in Economics from the University of São Paulo
- MA in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, Columbia University
His research interests center on educational equity, teacher education, pedagogical practices, and Mathematics Education. The Lemann Center partnership highlights his commitment to systemic improvements in Brazilian public education through evidence-based interventions.
