Fereshteh Ahmadi is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Gävle, Sweden. Her research focuses on social work, coping strategies, gerontology, gender studies, and cultural sociology. She has explored cross-cultural dimensions of coping with cancer, war, and pandemics, alongside critical analyses of aging and immigration in postmodern societies.
