Dr. Donya Ahmadi is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of Groningen, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts' Department of International Relations and International Organization. She specializes in intersectional feminism, gendered racism, and embodiment studies, with a focus on Iranian nationalism and transnational feminist activism in the Middle East. Her research critiques how gendered processes and embodied practices shape assimilation and marginalization in Iranian society. She teaches courses like 'Race, Class, and Gender Intersectionality' at the MA level and contributes to decolonial critique education.
