معرفی
Dr Femke Nijsse is a complexity scientist at the University of Exeter's Geography department, where she focuses on modeling transitions toward clean energy across sectors. She serves as deputy director of Exeter Climate Policy and is a key developer of the E3ME-FTT energy-economy-environment model, particularly the FTT submodels for heat, transport, and power. Her research integrates evolutionary economics to simulate technology diffusion via S-curves, addressing innovation, renewable energy integration, and sector coupling for net-zero energy systems. She has held appointments as Senior Lecturer (2025) and Lecturer (2022–2025) in Innovation, Energy, and Climate at Exeter.
