Femke Kaulingfreks

Femke Kaulingfreks is a Lecturer in Youth and Society at Inholland University of Applied Sciences since 2018 and holds the Wibaut Chair at the University of Amsterdam. She focuses on complex societal issues related to youth development, urban social dynamics, and inclusive education. Her research emphasizes empowering vulnerable youth through resilient growth strategies and bridging informal and professional support systems.

Education: PhD in Political and Social Philosophy (2013, University for Humanistic Studies, Utrecht). Key research areas include youth empowerment, urban development, political participation, and social inclusion. She leads interdisciplinary projects on polarization, radicalization, and innovative youth work methodologies.
