Dr. Felix Afolabi is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Morgan State University's Earl Graves School of Business and Management. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an MBA in Finance from Morgan State University, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from Norfolk State University. His research focuses on fraud risk management, remittances effects, accounting policy, tax reform, leadership in finance, and business management.
Dr. Afolabi has taught courses including Principles of Accounting, Financial Literacy, and Hospitality Management Accounting. He contributed to designing the Hospitality Management Accounting course for accreditation and co-developed the Financial Literacy course (FIN 101). He has participated in educational initiatives such as Quality Matters Online Course Design Training and the Lumen Circles Fellowship in Teaching with Open Educational Resources.
His recent research explores financial inclusion's impact on stability in African economies and remittances' threshold effects on real exchange rates in WAEMU. He has presented at conferences including the International Academy of Business and the IAAAM Conference.
