Felipe Schuery is an Associate Professor in Portuguese at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics and serving as a Bye-Fellow at Magdalene College. With a background in publishing from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a Master’s in Literature and Discourse Analysis from Université Blaise-Pascal, he has been a pivotal figure in Portuguese language education at Cambridge since 2014.

- Prior Roles: Senior Language Teaching Officer (2018-2022), Language Teaching Officer (2014-2018)
- Organizational Involvement: Officer at TROPO-UK (Association of Teachers and Researchers of Portuguese Language in the UK) since 2019
His research focuses on Children's Literature and Lusophone Cultural Studies. He has authored two notable works: Ralf & Demi – Uma história de duas metades (2013), a children’s book exploring bilingual narratives, and Mar de Plástico (2023), addressing environmental themes through creative storytelling.
Recent publications highlight trends in educational media, ecocriticism, and Lusophone cultural representation. His work bridges pedagogy and creative practice, emphasizing accessibility and cultural engagement.
