Feiyang Sun

Feiyang Sun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the University of California San Diego. He earned his Ph.D. in Urban Planning from the University of Washington in 2021, following a Master of City and Regional Planning from Cornell University and a B.E. from Zhejiang University.

His research integrates economic theories and empirical methods to address challenges in urban infrastructure and real estate markets, with current projects focusing on spatial data governance, renewable energy policies, small business resilience, and mixed-use development economics. He will teach courses on real estate development principles, development processes, and data modeling at UC San Diego.
