معرفی
Fei Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Sciences at Macquarie University, Sydney. She holds a BSc in Chemistry from John Carroll University (2001) and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Yale University (2004). Her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School focused on molecular medicine and biosynthetic approaches. She joined Macquarie University in 2004 and has since led research in synthetic methodology, chemical proteomics, and drug discovery.
Research Interests: Her work spans asymmetric catalysis, isozyme-specific antagonist discovery, and protein post-translational modifications. She collaborates with the Australian Proteomics Analysis Facility (APAF) to advance systems proteomics.
Key Projects: Current grants include projects on degrader technology for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (MND), high-throughput electron diffractometry, and AI-driven agricultural pest monitoring. She has led 35+ research projects since 2006.
Lab & Team: The Liu Research Group includes PhD candidates, postdocs, and alumni who focus on organic synthesis, proteomic tools, and bioactive molecule development. The lab’s website provides further technical details and protocols.
