Federico Andreotti

Federico Andreotti is a Lecturer and Researcher at the Farming Systems Ecology (FSE) group at Wageningen University & Research. He coordinates the WUR Games HUB, a multi- and transdisciplinary network of game researchers and educators. His work focuses on co-designing serious games for sustainability transitions in farming and food systems.

• Education: Master’s in Resilient Farming and Food Systems (2017, Wageningen University), PhD focused on serious games for sustainability transitions.

Research interests include farming systems design, participation methods, social learning, governance, and transdisciplinary approaches to complex systems. He develops educational games to bridge science and society, particularly through projects like CUCo Spark and CiFoS Game.

He teaches courses such as 'Exploring the Future of Farming and Food' and supervises MSc theses and internships in Farming Systems Ecology.
