Dr. Fearghal Behan is an Assistant Professor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin and a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London’s Faculty of Engineering. His research focuses on musculoskeletal health, sports/exercise injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance using biomechanical and imaging techniques (MRI, ultrasound).
Education: PhD in 'Neuromechanics of Explosive Performance for Movement Control and Joint Stabilisation' from Loughborough University. Prior roles include Research Scientist at Aspetar Sports Medicine Hospital (Qatar) and Assistant Professor at Dublin City University.

- ADVANCE Study clinical outcomes in military casualties
Notable Work: Developed an interventional exercise trial for hip bone mineral density improvement post-traumatic amputation via international Delphi process collaboration. Part of Imperial’s Musculoskeletal Mechanics Group under Prof. Anthony Bull.
