Fatma Aslan Tutak is an Associate Professor in Mathematics Education at Boğaziçi University. She holds an Integrated B.S./M.S. in Secondary School Mathematics Teaching from Boğaziçi University (2004) and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics Education) from the University of Florida (2009). Her research examines teacher knowledge, professional development, and equity in STEM education.
She co-leads the TWG:20 Mathematics Teacher Knowledge group for the Congress of European Society for Research in Mathematics Education and contributes to Turkish national curriculum development. Work emphasizes critical mathematics education and assessment practices.
