Dr. Andrew Kipp is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching, Learning & Culture at Texas A&M University's Higher Education Center at McAllen. He holds a B.S. in Secondary Education: Chemistry (2014), M.S. in Secondary Teaching (2018), and Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction (2022), all from Kansas State University. Kipp has taught high school chemistry and remotely co-instructed university education courses. His research focuses on student absenteeism, teacher agency, STEM strategies, and rural education access. He leads the online M.Ed. in STEM Education program.

Received the 2024 Southwest Educational Research Association Deans’ Award. Teaches courses like STEM Teaching & Learning, 21st Century Educational Theory, and Directed Studies. Active in curriculum development and teacher training initiatives.
