Dr. Fatma Al-Widyan is a Lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and serves as Director of Student Teams. She leads strategic initiatives to enhance student innovation in Automotive, Space, and Engineering Design Methodologies through projects like UTS Motorsports Autonomous Car, Mars Rover, and Rocketry programs. Her leadership has driven awards such as the 2023 SAE Inspiring Motorsport Team and 2022 Solar Decathlon Design Challenge victory.
