Fatima Fay Kastner

Prof. Dr. Fatima Fay Kastner is a Professor of Globalization Discourses and Digital Transformation at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne since 2018. She holds affiliations with Bielefeld University (co-opted member of the Institute for World Society since 2010, Research Training Group member since 2016) and serves as Ambassador for Science and Culture at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW) since 2014. Her career includes lecturing at the University of Hamburg (2004-2010) and senior research roles at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research (2004-2013).

The articles demonstrate her expertise in systems theory, transitional justice, and digital society. Her work spans publications in Oxford University Press, Springer Verlag, and Nomos Verlag, with recurring themes in global governance, legal personhood, and technology ethics.
