Fatih Sen is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Memphis. He joined the university in August 2016 as a full-time instructor and advisor, leveraging over 15 years of industry experience. Dr. Sen holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock (2014) and an MS in Integrated Science and Technology.

His research interests focus on teaching methodologies, programming languages, databases, web technologies, data science, artificial intelligence, educational technology, blogging, and entrepreneurship. He actively contributes to ed-tech startups, including FastCoach (re-inventing tech education) and MagicStat (statistical data analysis tools). Dr. Sen teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in programming and databases.
