Fateme Rajabiyazdi is an Assistant Professor at Carleton University in the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, with cross-appointments to the School of Information Technology and Bruyère Research Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary (2018), focusing on information visualization.

Research Interests revolve around real-world health data visualization, specifically patient engagement in medical care, health data tracking, patient-provider communication, and decision-making support. Publications (2025–2020) span information visualization, patient-generated health data, and medical decision-making.
