Keke Wu

Dr. Keke Wu is an Assistant Professor in Information Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, appointed as of August 2025. She leads the UMD Lived Data Collective, a research group focused on making data cognitively accessible, emotionally resonant, and socially impactful through visualization.

Her expertise spans:

• Accessibility and Inclusive Design

She has published extensively in leading venues like ACM CHI, IEEE VIS, and ACM ASSETS, including a Best Paper Award at CHI 2021. Dr. Wu’s work bridges computer science, cinematic arts, and creative technology to reimagine data representation for diverse audiences.
