Farsane Tabataba-Vakili

Prof. Dr. Farsane Tabataba-Vakili is an Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) at the Institute of Condensed Matter Physics, Technische Universität Braunschweig (since September 2024) and a continuing MCQST START Fellow at LMU Munich. She leads the Quantum Matter group, focusing on light-matter interactions in 2D magnetic semiconductors like CrSBr and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) through magneto-optical spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures and cleanroom nanofabrication of van der Waals heterostructures.
