Farrokh Fazileh is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa's Department of Civil Engineering and a Senior Research Officer at the National Research Council Canada's Construction Research Centre. He holds a PhD from Carleton University, an M.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology, and a B.Sc. from Amirkabir University of Technology. His expertise focuses on seismic engineering, infrastructure resilience, and structural design.

Professional experience includes over seven years at Adjeleian Allen Rubeli (AAR), where he worked on seismic retrofitting of heritage structures like the Bank of Canada buildings and Parliament’s West Block.
Teaching roles include courses on reinforced concrete design, matrix structural analysis, and seismic retrofitting. He has authored/co-authored 52+ technical papers and actively participates in peer reviews and legal expert analyses for high-stakes infrastructure projects.
