Fani Koukouli is a researcher at Institut Pasteur in Paris, specializing in the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders. She joined the institute through the Paris-Pasteur University Program in 2012 and completed her PhD in the Integrative Neurobiology of Cholinergic Systems Unit under Uwe Maskos. Her work focuses on nicotinic receptors and their role in schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, aiming to develop novel therapeutic molecules.
