Falk Huettmann is an Associate Professor of Wildlife Ecology at the Institute of Arctic Biology, University of Alaska Fairbanks. His work spans Alaska, Russian Far East, and Tropical Ecology, focusing on conservation of biodiversity, predictive GIS modeling, and spatial aspects of population viability analysis.
- Education: PhD in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick (2001); M.Sc. in Forest Science from the University of Munich (1992-1993); Thesis work at University of Freiburg (1991-1992)
