Falk Harnisch

Prof. Dr. Falk Harnisch is Co-Head of the Department of Microbial Biotechnology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ and holds a Full Professor (W3) for Electrobiotechnology at Leipzig University, Germany. He earned his venia legendi in Biochemistry/Biophysical Chemistry and completed his academic training with a PhD in Environmental Chemistry (summa cum laude, 2009) and Diploma in Biochemistry (2006) at the University of Greifswald, Germany.
