Faith M Mahan

Faith M Mahan is an Assistant Professor and full-time faculty member in the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She serves as the first-year clinic coordinator and course director for Dental Hygiene Preclinic, Clinic 1 and 2, Introduction to Dental Hygiene, and Dental Hygiene Seminar 1, 2, and 3.

Education:

• MS in Health and Physical Activity Programming and Promotion, University of Pittsburgh (2020)

Research & Roles: Her focus includes dental hygiene education, clinical training, and health promotion. She chairs the Dental Hygiene Curriculum Committee and First-Year Clinical Evaluation Committee, and participates in multiple other committees such as the Alumni and Professional Community Committee. She also represents the school as the Dental Hygiene Alumni Representative.
