Paulette M. Dietz

Paulette M. Dietz is a full-time Lecturer in the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine's Dental Hygiene Program. She serves as Senior Clinical Supervisor and Course Director for Dental Hygiene Clinics 3, 4, and Advanced Clinical Practice, as well as Seminar 3, 4, and Advanced Dental Hygiene Practicum. Additionally, she teaches Radiation Health and Safety in the Dental Assistant Training Program, earning the 2025 Partner of Distinction Award. Her military service includes 6 years as a dental specialist in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, where she received the Army Commendation Medal and two Army Achievement Medals.

Dr. Dietz holds a BS in Dental Hygiene (2023) from the University of Pittsburgh and is pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She actively contributes to academic governance through roles on the Steering Committee of University Dental Health Services, School of Dental Medicine Alumni Board, and Continuing Education Advisory Committee. Professional memberships include the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA), Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association (PDHA), and American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
