Fabrizio Terranova

Fabrizio Terranova is a Belgian filmmaker, activist, playwright, and professor at École de Recherche Graphique (erg) in Brussels. He co-directs the Master's program in Narratives and Experimentation - Speculative Narrative, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to storytelling. His work bridges experimental cinema, feminist theory, and collaborative knowledge production, notably through the collective DingDingDong Institute for Huntington's Disease research.

Research interests include speculative narration, neurodegenerative disease advocacy, and the intersection of science fiction with critical theory. His 2015 article Les Enfants du compost explores ecological metaphors in collaborative knowledge frameworks.

Terranova's 2016 film Donna Haraway: Story Telling for Earthly Survival examines feminist philosophy and cyborg theory through experimental documentary techniques. He has also extended this work into a book format.
