Fabio Cintoli

Fabio Cintoli is a tenured Professor of Administrative Law at Luiss Guido Carli University's School of Law, Department of Law in Rome. He has held this position since 2007 and is also a lawyer of the Free Bar, ranked in band 1 in Chambers International.

Professor Cintoli's research focuses on administrative law with particular expertise in administrative litigation, public procurement, antitrust regulation, and constitutional aspects of competition law. His work bridges legal theory with practical applications in public administration and regulatory frameworks.

His recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on the intersection of competition law, public service regulation, and administrative procedures, with particular attention to European integration and constitutional challenges in economic regulation. The publications reveal a strong emphasis on how legal frameworks adapt to economic crises and evolving market conditions.

Throughout his distinguished career, Professor Cintoli has served in multiple high-level judicial and advisory roles including as an ordinary magistrate, judge of the TAR (Regional Administrative Court), magistrate of the Council of State (1998-2007), legal advisor to the President of the Senate (2001-2005), General Secretary of the Italian Competition Authority (2005-2007), and member of the Legislative Committee of the Lombardy Region (2010-2019).
