Gianluca Faella is an Associate Professor of Economic Law at Link Campus University in Rome. He teaches competition law and economics, economic regulation, and intellectual property law. He also serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Law & Economics Lab in Rome and has held contract professor roles at institutions including Luiss Guido Carli, University of Siena, and the University of Bologna.

His research focuses on competition policy, intellectual property, and high-tech markets. He has authored a monograph on discount policies of dominant firms and contributed to numerous articles on competition law, private law, and regulatory economics. Faella is Counsel at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, specializing in competition law and commercial litigation.
A member of ADDE, AIDC, Concorrenze, AIGE, and SIDE, he actively participates in academic associations and conferences globally. His professional network spans legal practice, academia, and policy analysis.
