Fabio Anzà

Fabio Anzà is an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at UMBC, leading research in theoretical quantum information science. His interdisciplinary work investigates the physics of information in many-body systems, combining analytical and numerical methods to explore connections between physical properties, energetics, and information-theoretic resources.

His research trajectory spans mathematical physics, particle physics, gravitational physics, statistical mechanics, and quantum information. Prior to joining UMBC, he held positions at the Complexity Sciences Center (UC Davis), University of Washington's InQubator for Quantum Simulations, and University of Trieste. He co-founded Kernel Science, providing specialized R&D services.
