Fabien Dal Maso

Fabien Dal Maso is an Associate Professor at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Medicine, specifically within the School of Kinesiology and Physical Activity Sciences. He maintains his research office at the UdeM Campus in Laval, room 5226. His academic credentials include a Doctorate in Sciences and Techniques of Physical and Sporting Activities from the University of Toulouse III ‒ Paul Sabatier, followed by postdoctoral positions at both McGill University and the University of Montreal.

Dr. Dal Maso's research focuses on the cortical control mechanisms of muscle contraction and movement and the neurophysiology of muscle fatigue. His work bridges neuroscience, biomechanics, and rehabilitation science, with particular emphasis on human movement patterns, fatigue mechanisms, and sensorimotor integration. His current research projects include investigating the brain's contribution to human bipedalism control, cortical motor reorganization during physical fatigue, and early detection of muscle fatigue indicators.
