Ezio Fulcheri is a Contract Professor at the University of Genoa, affiliated with the Department of Internal and Medical Specialties (DIMI), Department of Experimental Medicine (DIMES), and Department of Antiquities, Philosophy, and History (DAFIST). His research bridges medical and anthropological disciplines.
- Teaching Roles: Paleopathology (LM) for the Master's program in Archaeologies: Profession and Knowledge (ARCHEOPES), Anthropology for Medicine and Surgery, and Exercise Sciences.
His research focuses on genetic disorders and developmental defects, particularly in pediatric contexts. Publications highlight work on rare conditions like intestinal pseudo-obstruction, hydranencephaly, and NF1-related deformities, integrating clinical and archaeological perspectives.
Recent articles emphasize genetic variant analysis (2025), neonatal diagnostics (2024), and stillbirth etiology (2023). His cross-disciplinary approach connects clinical medicine with historical and anthropological frameworks.
