Key research areas include evaluating treatments such as labetalol’s impact on maternal-fetal hemodynamics, preventing fetal growth restriction in high-risk pregnancies, and analyzing long-term health risks for preterm individuals. She has led or co-led major projects like the CHIPS Trial (2008-2014) and the Montreal Emerging Research Team in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MERe) (2016-2022). Her work is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), addressing topics such as asthma medication effects, biomarker analysis in hypertensive pregnancies, and thrombophilia prevention.
Evelyne Rey collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based obstetric care. Her contributions span clinical trials, meta-analyses, and translational research, emphasizing improved maternal and fetal outcomes through pharmacological and preventive strategies.
