Eve Sandberg serves as Professor of Politics within the Department of Politics at Oberlin College's College of Arts and Sciences. Her academic career spans decades of teaching international relations, democratization, political economy, and U.S. foreign policy, complemented by practical civic engagement through Oberlin City Council service and political consultancy work.
Her educational foundation includes:

- MS from University of Pennsylvania (1974)
- PhD from Yale University (1990)
Research focuses on democratization processes, economic development frameworks with entrepreneurship applications, political party system dynamics, NGO operations, and gender studies intersections. Teaching methodology integrates community-based learning where students conduct applied research for government agencies, non-profits, and the U.S. Department of State through her Practicum in Applied Research course.
