Eve Parker is a Lecturer in Liberal Arts in the Department of Religions and Theology at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on World Christianities, with particular emphasis on feminist and liberation theologies, Dalit theology, and Indian Christology.
Parker employs decolonial frameworks to analyze religious practices and epistemologies, as demonstrated in her work on Devadāsī traditions and Dalit women's experiences. Her scholarship examines power dynamics in theological education and advocates for distributive justice in knowledge production.
She welcomes PhD supervision in areas including abuse in religious contexts, freedom of religion, and South Asian Christian traditions. Parker holds postgraduate degrees from the University of St Andrews, including an MLitt, MTh, and PhD.
