Evan C. Tsai

Evan C. Tsai is an adjunct faculty member and legal writing instructor at Metropolitan State University, alongside his role as a defense attorney and litigator with the League of Minnesota Cities. A United States Marine Corps veteran honorably discharged in 1999, Tsai also practices criminal defense and serves in legal advocacy roles.

Research interests focus on legal writing pedagogy, criminal defense strategies, and intersections between public health law and veterans' rights. His teaching incorporates hybrid/advocacy-based methodologies.
