Eva Faes

Eva Faes is a Lecturer and teacher educator at AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts since 2016. She holds a master’s degree in Dutch and English literature and linguistics (2003) and qualifications as a teacher of English, Dutch, and Dutch as a second language. Her expertise focuses on language didactics (first, second, and foreign languages), multilingualism, communicative skills, internationalization, entrepreneurial education, and Collective Teacher Efficacy.

Her teaching career includes roles in secondary and adult education, where she taught Dutch, English, and project-based general subjects. She transitioned to teacher education, emphasizing practical pedagogical strategies and institutional collaboration.

Key research projects include evaluating CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in Flanders (2024–2025), strengthening teaching teams through care policy initiatives (2021–2023), integrating CLIL in teacher training (2021–2022), and addressing school language skills across disciplines (2020–2024).
