Eva Deliporanidou

Eva Deliporanidou is a Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) within the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge. She is affiliated with the Astrophysics research group and is based in Room F1.01. Her research focuses on stellar and solar physics, plasma dynamics, and atomic database development.

Her work includes modelling stellar and solar irradiance variations, particularly in FGKM stars, and investigating recombination processes in plasma environments. She contributes to the CHIANTI atomic database, advancing ionization equilibrium models for astrophysical plasmas.

Her recent publications explore correlations between solar activity proxies and irradiance, as well as atomic collision processes in He-like ions. These studies bridge fundamental atomic physics with large-scale astrophysical phenomena.
