Eva Carceles-Poveda

Eva Carceles-Poveda is a Professor of Economics and current co-chair of the Department of Economics at Stony Brook University, where she also serves as an affiliated member of the Stony Brook Center for Game Theory. Her research focuses on Macroeconomics, Public Policy, Macro Finance, and Computational Economics, with a particular emphasis on the effects of frictions at the firm level and policy design. She has published in top-tier journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, Quantitative Economics, and Journal of Monetary Economics.

Dr. Carceles-Poveda teaches a variety of courses, including Intermediate Macroeconomics, Computational Economics, and Advanced Macroeconomic Theory at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Her work explores topics like tax reforms, financial stability funds, and the interplay between technological change and economic policy.
