Eva Alram-Stern

Eva Alram-Stern is a prominent Austrian archaeologist affiliated with the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), where she has served as a research associate since 1983 and deputy director of the Institute for Oriental and European Archaeology (OREA) from 2016 to 2018. She has taught at the University of Salzburg (since 1999) and the University of Vienna, and holds habilitation in Aegean Prehistory and Early History from the University of Salzburg (2000). A corresponding member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences since 2010 and an associate member of the Austrian Archaeological Institute (ÖAI) since 2019, her work focuses on Neolithic and Early Bronze Age Greece and the Aegean, particularly pottery and statuettes.
