Eun-Suk Seo

Eun-Suk Seo is a Professor of Physics and member of the Institute for Physical Science and Technology (IPST) at the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on cosmic ray origins, acceleration, and propagation, with an emphasis on detecting exotic matter like antimatter and dark matter using balloon-borne and spacecraft instruments. She leads the CREAM collaboration and contributes to AMS, BESS, and ATIC projects.

Key collaborations include the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station, the Cosmic Ray Energetics and Mass (CREAM) program, and the Balloon-borne Experiment with a Superconducting magnet Spectrometer (BESS).
