Eugenia Rosca is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operations Management at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Economics and Business. Her research focuses on social responsibility in supply chains, circular economy, and non-traditional actors in operations. She coordinates the Sustainability and Future Prosperity Strategic Theme (2023-2027) and is a Fellow at the Rudolf Agricola School for Sustainable Development.
Educated at Jacobs University (PhD) and Tilburg University, she previously held roles as Academic Director of the Master Program in Supply Chain Management. Her work bridges sustainability, ethical supply chains, and inclusive operations, emphasizing social enterprises and Base of the Pyramid markets.
Key research areas include mechanisms for social/environmental impact creation, intermediary roles in supply chains, and digital governance for sustainability. She has published in top journals like the Journal of Supply Chain Management and International Journal of Operations & Production Management.
